Gandhiji's visit to Palghat

that Gandhiji visited Palghat on 10th January 1934. He addressed several meeting in and around the town. He also visited the 'Shabari Ashram'. Where and what is this?

Sabari Ashramam is in Akathethara on the way to Malampuzha. Yes , u r right. Gandhiji had visited this ashram once & there are still a few photos there taken on the occassion of his visit. The ashram houses a few inmates . Normally the Rotary & Lions clubs do some charity works here during the independence day / Gandhi jayanthiday/republic day.
